Aston Villa were beaten 3-1 by Queens Park Rangers last night, and Conor Hourihane did not impress.

Aston Villa fans have slated Conor Hourihane, after his performance against Queens Park Rangers last night.
Hourihane was selected to start for Villa in the contest, but was unable to make much of an impact on the match.
The Republic of Ireland international failed to impress, as Villa slipped to a shock 3-1 defeat in front of their own supporters.

The claret and blues had put themselves in contention to make the automatic promotion places, but last night’s defeat was a major blow to their chances.
Villa are now seven points behind second placed Cardiff City, and only a sequence of victories will put them back in with a chance of avoiding the play offs.
Some Villa fans are now hoping that Hourihane doesn’t have a big part to play over the run-in, as they feel Steve Bruce has better options available to him.
Villa are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium.
