Aston Villa loanee Callum O’Hare is currently playing for League Two side Carlisle United.

Aston Villa fans on Twitter expressed their delight at Callum O’Hare after he scored the winning goal for Carlisle United during their 2-1 win over Swindon Town on Saturday.

In January, Villa opted to send the 20-year-old out on loan to the League Two club and the decision to do so seems to be working because he is earning regular game time and he has now won his team valuable points.

The result pushes Carlisle into the top seven, one point ahead of Exeter as they currently occupy the final play-off spot in their bid to earn promotion.

Nonetheless, many Villa supporters on Twitter were delighted for their player as they believe it will help him push for first-team football when he arrives back to his parent club in the summer.

Club legend Brian Little also sent his congratulations on Twitter to O’Hare, with many hoping that he can now replicate this form and produce the goods on a constant basis for his current team.

Here is a selection of Villa fans reacting to O’Hare’s goal:

O’Hare wasn’t the only Villa playmaker finding the back of the net over the weekend because Jack Grealish netted for Villa in the Second CIty derby against Birmingham.

After being hit by a fan early in the first half, Grealish netted the winning goal against their bitter rivals to help earn his team the bragging rights of the city once again.
