Aston Villa and Birmingham City drew 1-1 at St. Andrews at the weekend.
Aston Villa fans have been left fuming after Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett’s comments about them, following the Midlands derby.
Rowett accused Villa’s players of time wasting, and he also labelled Jonathan Kodjia as ‘embarrassing’.
The Birmingham boss felt that Kodjia has gone down far too regularly for a player of his size.
Birmingham fans may have enjoyed their manager’s passionate post-match comments, but Villa supporters were less pleased.
They felt that Rowett had been disrespectful with what he had said about Villa’s players and tactics.
In the match itself, Villa had taken the lead when Gary Gardner headed home in the first-half.
However, Birmingham fought back with David Davis grabbing an equaliser.
Villa now remain unbeaten under the guidance of Steve Bruce, while the Blues have moved into seventh position in the Championship table.
