Aston Villa have made 12 signings this summer as they prepare for the new Premier League campaign.

Aston Villa supporters on Twitter have made it clear that they don’t need to sign Baptiste Santamaria after having a bid reportedly rejected for him.
French outlet L’Equipe have claimed that Villa have had a bid of £6.35 million rejected for Angers midfielder Santamaria.
On Thursday, Villa announced on their official website that they have secured the services of Club Brugge powerhouse Marvelous Nakamba.
Given that his arrival was imminent, and it has now been confirmed, the Villa Park faithful have stated that another midfielder is now not needed.
In total, Dean Smith has added 12 players to his squad this summer, including three loan signing who helped him earn promotion last season.
Two of those 12 players are central midfielders – Nakamba and previously Manchester City’s Douglas Luiz.

Plus, on top of those players, the Midlands outfit have a host of players that can contest those places in the middle of the park ahead of the new season.
From backup option Henri Lansbury to certain starter John McGinn, who won the Players and Supporters Player of the Year last term and has been impressing during pre-season.
Nonetheless, whilst there was a bid seemingly put in place for 6ft ace Santamaria, Villa don’t need his services now that Nakamba has arrived.
