Steve Bruce is reportedly keen to bring Axel Tuanzebe back to Aston Villa this summer.

Aston Villa fans have had a mixed reaction to the news that Axel Tuanzebe could return to Villa Park this summer.

Tuanzebe was brought in on loan at Villa from Manchester United last season, but he made very little impact after joining on loan in January.

The young defender suffered badly with injury, which meant that his game time was limited.

Steve Bruce was always a big fan of Tuanzebe, but not all Villa supporters saw the Manchester United man’s quality.

And with the Daily Mail reporting that Tuanzebe will return to Villa the responses from claret and blues supporters have been mixed.

Tuanzebe would offer Bruce some added defensive options, which could be crucial as the season progresses.

Villa have lost all of their loanees from last season, and also have seen John Terry depart, in what has been a difficult summer so far.

Villa begin their season tonight, when they take on Hull City.
