Aston Villa fans have criticised the performance of Albert Adomah, despite their victory over Middlesbrough in the play offs.

Villa drew 0-0 with Boro at Villa Park last night, to progress to Wembley.

Steve Bruce’s side put in a solid display in the contest, but it was arguably their defensive players who shone more than the attacking side of the team.

And Adomah’s performance was questioned by some Villa supporters, who feel his standards have dropped.

Adomah was one of Villa’s most integral players over the early part of the campaign, but he hasn’t been as prolific more recently.

The wide-man has failed to score in his last 12 appearances for Villa.

Although Adomah still seems likely to start the play off final, there must be some doubt over his participation.

Bruce has other options he could use in attacking areas at Wembley against Fulham, including the likes of Jonathan Kodjia and Scott Hogan.
