Bielsa could face Aston Villa as Leeds United manager in the Championship next season.

Aston Villa fans are reacting with envy after Leeds United were linked with a move for Marcelo Bielsa.
Bielsa – who has managed Argentina, Marseille and Lazio among others, and inspired coaches such as Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino – is odds-on favourite to succeed Paul Heckingbottom at Elland Road.
Heckingbottom was relieved of his duties on Friday, after leading Leeds to just four wins in 16 matches following his February appointment.

And after their side’s play-off final defeat against Fulham last weekend, several Aston Villa fans are hoping the same fate awaits their manager, Steve Bruce – with Bielsa (or equivalent) his replacement.
This is what they are saying on Twitter…
@BOOMBEEF: #AVFC fair play to Leeds Marcelo Bielsa is a world class coach we are so ****** lol @Dr_TonyXia @retsub12
Aston Villa, who will lock horns with Leeds again next season, are facing a difficult summer financially, with several high earners – including captain John Terry – already moved on.
In contrast, Leeds could be one of the few Championship sides operating with an improved budget this summer.
