Former Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark grabbed a goal and an assist as Newcastle United picked up their biggest away victory in half a century with a 6-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road.
Two goals from Jonjo Shelvey and another from Ayoze Perez had put the Magpies 3-0 ahead by the time Clark headed in from Matt Ritchie’s corner to make it 4-0.
Aleksandar Mitrovic then made it five before the Republic of Ireland international squared the ball to fellow defender Grant Hanley who poked it into the bottom left corner to make it 6-0.

The 26-year-old will also be happy to have kept his second clean sheet in three matches in a United shirt as his new side are starting to live up to their Championship favourites title having won each of their last five league matches.
Newcastle now sit just one point behind leaders Huddersfield and a win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday could see them top the table by the end of the week.

Meanwhile Villa are in desperate need of a win having only taken three points from one of their opening six Championship games ahead of tonight’s game with Brentford.
Needless to say, Villa fans weren’t exactly ecstatic to see their former player score for their possible promotion rivals…
However Newcastle fans were rather pleased with their new recruit’s performance…
