Aston Villa are allowing goalkeeper Jordan Archer to train with them.

Aston Villa have a number of goalkeepers at the club, but that hasn’t stopped the club from having a look at yet another one.
Villa signed Tom Heaton over the summer, with the veteran arriving from Burnley to play a first-choice ahead of Jed Steer.
Misfits Orjan Nyland and Lovre Kalinic may well move on in 2020, and Dean Smith has been dealt a blow during the international break.
Heaton has picked up an injury meaning he’s pulled out of the England squad, and Smith appears to be taking action just in case he isn’t fit to face Brighton and Hove Albion after the international break.
The Daily Mail report that free agent Jordan Archer has joined Villa on trial, with the Scotland international arriving for training ahead of a possible move.
It may just be to help him keep fit ahead of joining another club, but Heaton’s injury suggests that Archer could yet be brought in as bargain cover.

The 26-year-old was in the Tottenham youth ranks and left Millwall at the end of last season, after racking up over 150 appearances for the Lions.
Villa fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the news, with some believing he is an accident waiting to happen based on his displays for Millwall, urging Villa to not even think about signing him.
Others are baffled by the club looking at another goalkeeper given how many are already at the club, feeling that they really don’t need Archer unless Heaton’s injury is worse than feared.
