Aston Villa fell to another defeat on Sunday night as they lost 2-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Villa have found life difficult without Jack Grealish, and came up short against Spurs in a fairly disappointing showing.
Carlos Vinicius and Harry Kane found the net to give Spurs all three points, leaving Villa with just one win in their last seven league games.
The absence of Grealish is of course a huge blow, but few other players are performing well at the moment, with Ezri Konsa one of the few to impress.
The defender has been outstanding this season, and just how he isn’t part of the England squad right now is an absolute mystery.
On Sunday, Konsa played against his boyhood club having supported Spurs growing up, and The Athletic recently reported that Tottenham want to sign Konsa this summer.

Facing Harry Kane was a great test for Konsa, and he was arguably the only Villa player to come out of the game with any credit having impressed again.
Villa fans took to Twitter to rave about Konsa, suggesting that he is ‘class’, ‘a rock at the back’ and ‘an absolute Rolls Royce’ in the Villa defence.
Others praised him for being the only one trying even though he was facing his boyhood club, with Konsa also described as ‘phenomenal’ and ‘amazing’ for his display against Spurs.
