Aston Villa fans have admitted that John Terry has proven them wrong this season.
Some Villa fans were not too enthusiastic about Terry’s arrival last summer, but he has been a wonderful addition.
The 37-year-old has proven to be one of Villa’s top performers this term, with his rock solid performance earning him a great deal of praise.
Terry’s future at Villa Park is now unclear, as his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Steve Bruce has already said that he wants to keep Terry at Villa Park and that opinion appears unanimous among claret and blues fans too.
Terry has previously suggested that he wouldn’t want to play against Chelsea, so if Villa do go on to earn promotion, it could be difficult for them to keep the centre-back.
Bruce’s side are currently in fourth place in the Championship table, and look set to be playing in the play offs in May.
