After a drab 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic, one disgruntled fan fears relegation if nothing is done.
Villa fan Chris Hearn is encouraging his fellow supporters to boycott Villa Park to help ensure boss Alex McLeish gets the boot. Read his call to arms below:
“After yet another pathetic result for McLeish’s Villa, we have to ask how much worse can it get?
“After watching that against Wigan the answer is a lot worse.
“If Randy Lerner and Paul Faulkner have any clue about the game they will dismiss McLeish immediately. But we all know that won’t happen.
“So we urge all fans of Aston Villa to boycott the Fulham game, and hit them in the pocket.
“They have NO respect for you, they have treated us with utter contempt when they appointed McLeish and keeping him in a job now is just taking the mick out of us all.
“We deserve to go down if he remains in charge.
“All Randy Lerner and Paul Faulkner care about is money, if we stop giving them ours then surely they will have to listen!
“It’s now 6 wins in 26 games, We are definitely in a relegation battle now.
“You want him out? Then do something about it!
“We know how difficult it is to stay away from a game, and it is the last thing we want to do. But surely its worth it in the long term?”
Do you agree with Chris’ assessment or can McLeish turn it around?
