Robert Snodgrass has congratulated Luke Roper for winning the contract to design Aston Villa’s kit for next season on Twitter.

Snodgrass says that he is looking forward to seeing Villa’s strip for next campaign.

And Villa fans have taken his message as a hint that he could be set to stay with them next term.

Snodgrass has been with Villa on loan from West Ham United this season, and he has impressed hugely.

Steve Bruce’s side are expected to make a move for the Scottish international, but whether they would be able to fund a bid remains to be seen.

David Moyes is thought to be a fan of Snodgrass, and he could opt to keep him at West Ham.

In reality, Villa are likely to need to be promoted to keep hold of the winger next term.

Snodgrass has scored eight goals and claimed 13 assists in 38 appearances for Villa this term.
