Steve Bruce’s side are expected to make a move for the Scottish international, but whether they would be able to fund a bid remains to be seen.
David Moyes is thought to be a fan of Snodgrass, and he could opt to keep him at West Ham.
In reality, Villa are likely to need to be promoted to keep hold of the winger next term.
Snodgrass has scored eight goals and claimed 13 assists in 38 appearances for Villa this term.
