Luiz has signed for Villa from Manchester City this summer, but he is still waiting for a work permit.
And it seems that the midfielder is not particularly close to linking up with his Villa teammates currently.
Luiz posted a video of himself training on his own in Brazil, as he awaits clearance for his move to Villa.
And claret and blues fans are annoyed that it is taking so long for Luiz to get full permission to make his move.
Luiz now looks unlikely to start in Villa’s first Premier League games, as he will have minimal time training with his new teammates.
It could be that Dean Smith is forced to start with Conor Hourihane in Villa’s first game of the season, which comes against Tottenham Hotspur in two weekends’ time.
