Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Ojo, according to reports.

Aston Villa are reportedly closing in on the signing of exciting Liverpool attacker Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan until the end of the season – and some Villa fans are eagerly awaiting an announcement.
The Mirror claims 21-year-old Liverpool star Ojo is “close” to a move to Villa Park, with Steve Bruce’s side severely lacking in width as they look unlikely to land Robert Snodgrass on loan from West Ham again.
Ojo’s long-term future at Anfield remains in doubt with only two years remaining on his contract at Anfield, and he could be sold permanently next summer with Liverpool likely to want a fee for the England youth international.
The versatile attacker has featured 13 times for Liverpool’s senior side, scoring once and creating another four strikes. He has also appeared 50 times in the Championship – having a hand in 11 goals, scoring six and creating five.

But he remains unlikely to break into Jurgen Klopp’s side, with Liverpool boasting talents such as Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri and Adam Lallana – all ahead of 5ft 9in Ojo in the pecking order.
Some Villa fans reacted to the news that their club could indeed land the Liverpool talent on loan, as Bruce looks to add the players he needs in the final days of the window to mount a promotion challenge.
