The 22-year-old scored a brilliant winner, as the claret and blues beat Cardiff City 1-0.
Grealish’s talent has been known for a long time, but he really seems to have knuckled down recently.
And some Villa fans fear that if they are not promoted this term, then Grealish could be off in the summer.
Villa kept their slim hopes of automatic promotion alive by beating Cardiff, but it looks far more likely that they will be have to go up through the play offs.
Bruce’s side are currently in fourth place in the Championship table, with just four points remaining this term.
