New signing El Ghazi has been somewhat indifferent since joining Villa.

Aston Villa ended their run of six matches without a win in all competitions with a 2-0 triumph over newly-promoted Rotherham United – but Villa fans remain disgruntled and Anwar El Ghazi was a source of criticism on Twitter.
New signings Tammy Abraham and Yannick Bolasie opened their accounts for Villa, scoring either side of the half-time whistle as Bolasie came off the bench to strike late on.
A well-worked first game Abraham the chance to open the scoring, after lovely passing from Jack Grealish and Jonathan Kodjia, and Abraham duly obliged to get his name on the score sheet and put Villa 1-0 up.
Grealish was involved in the second, too. He set-up Ahmed El Mohamady who crossed, and Everton loanee Bolasie attacked the ball like his life depended on it, to head home and earn a 2-0 win for Villa.

But it was not all positives for Steve Bruce. Bolasie had come on for Lille loanee El Ghazi after 73 minutes, after the two-time Holland international struggled to make much of an impact.
Indeed, some Aston Villa fans reacted to the former Ajax star’s display before he was replaced by goalscorer Bolasie, with many frustrated by his indifferent start to life at Villa Park and questioning whether he is good enough.
