Aston Villa fans have delivered their verdict on Mile Jedinak, after the summer signing from Crystal Palace made his long-awaited home debut on Wednesday.
The imposing Australian arrived at Villa Park in mid-August, and made his first Villans appearance in last month’s defeat at Bristol City.

However, an injury picked up on international duty saw Jedinak remain an unused substitute during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Recovered, he was sworn in against Brentford on Wednesday and marked the occasion with an assist for fellow new boy Jonathan Kodjia, who latched onto Jedinak’s long pass, cut inside, and rifled into the far corner.

Villa, though, did what they have done best this season, and dropped points courtesy of a late equaliser from Bees defender Josh Egan.
Egan’s goal wiped some of the shine off Jedinak’s display, however most appear suitably impressed by the bearded midfielder’s display.
