Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is currently under severe pressure at Villa Park.

There is a growing clamour for Aston Villa to bring back Tim Sherwood on social media website Twitter, following the Midlands side’s poor start to the season.

Steve Bruce is yet to prove he is the right man for Villa, and the claret and blues’ poor start to this campaign has seen the pressure mount on the 56-year-old boss.

And there is now a feeling among some Villa fans that Sherwood should be brought back.

Sherwood was in charge of Villa for seven months in 2015, and guided the club to an FA Cup final during his time at the helm.

Sherwood saved Villa from relegation in the 2014/15 campaign, but a poor start to the next season ultimately cost him his job.

And while some Villa fans want Sherwood back, others are completely against the idea.

The future of Bruce has come into sharp focus, following Villa’s heavy defeat to Cardiff City at the weekend.

Villa are next in action against Reading tomorrow, and another defeat would be disastrous for the former Hull City manager.
