Dean Smith is preparing his Villa side for this weekend’s Premier League trip to their fellow top-flight newcomers.

Aston Villa have been busy in training ahead of their Premier League clash with Norwich City at the weekend and the club’s Twitter channel has shares two training-ground videos of players scoring some rather impressive goals.
The first was a clip of Ahmed Almohamady, who picked a pass from centre, ran down the right flank and, upon getting to the byline, slammed an effort from an incredibly tight angle into the back of the net via the far post, leaving Tom Heaton helpless and his teammates cheering.
The Villa page then posted a video of another drill where a low shot deflected by an opposing player into the air sees the ball loop nicely for Anwar El Ghazi, who connects perfectly with a thumping volley into the back of the net.
Needless to say the claret and blue fanbase enjoyed what they saw:
It definitely looks like morale is high in the Villa camp and, despite their Premier League form needing some work, there are plenty of signs and optimism that performances and results will soon pick up.
At present, Dean Smith’s charges sit 18th in the standings, with one win and two draws from their seven games so far.
