Aston Villa have made a bid for Celtic target and Dundee United defender Kerr Smith, according to Courier Sport.
Courier Sport have reported that Steven Gerrard’s Villa have made an offer in the high six-figures for Smith.
The Villans have been monitoring Smith for over a year now and have now made an offer for the teenager.
Manchester United, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Southampton, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace all are interested in Smith, according to the report.
Courier Sport have added that Celtic have been tracking the Dundee United defender as well.

Celtic fans will be well aware of Gerrard from the Villa manager’s time at Rangers.
The Liverpool legend guided Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title last season, ending Celtic’s hopes of winning the championship for the 10th year in a row.

Smith is 17, but he is hugely talented and is already a part of the Dundee United first team.
The Dundee United no. 28 has made three starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership so far this season.
