Aston Villa are set to sell Jordan Veretout this summer, as the midfielder has struggled to make an impact with Steve Bruce’s side.
Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has suggested that he will be looking for a big fee, if he is to sell Jordan Veretout this summer.
Veretout was loaned out by Villa to St. Etienne last season, and appears to have no future back at the Midlands club.
However, the Frenchman impressed at St. Etienne last term, and Xia clearly feels that Villa could receive big money for the 24-year-old.
Veretout has been at Villa for two seasons now, but has failed to make much of an impact in English football.
Ligue 1 sides are said to be interested in snapping up Veretout, but his rather large price-tag could put some teams off.
Villa are believed to be looking to raise funds, as Steve Bruce looks to bring in transfer targets this summer.
The claret and blues have been quiet so far, but announced the signing of John Terry earlier today.
