Aston Villa have improved in recent weeks with back-to-back wins in the Championship.

Aston Villa Chief Executive Keith Wyness shared how he believes the biggest problem faced by Steve Bruce during his time in charge at the club has been the lack of stability at Villa Park, and emphasised how he will be given all the support he needs going forward, as quoted by the Daily Star.
The Midlands outfit have really struggled in the Championship this season, despite a brief renaissance during the first month of Bruce’s tenure, and they currently sit in 15th position in the table, a full 16 points adrift of sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday with only 12 games remaining.
But Wyness backed the Villa boss to the hilt, explaining how the club will be looking to provide extra stability for Bruce as he looks to take the Villans back to where they belong, as quoted by the Daily Star:
“We are convinced he’s the right guy to guide us through the longer term. The biggest problem has been the lack of stability and we are going to provide that stability for Steve to be here going forward.”

Next up for Villa is a trip to rock-bottom Rotherham United on Saturday, and a win there will be a necessity if they are to keep their faint hopes of a place inside the play-off spots alive.
A victory against the Millers might not be the foregone conclusion that everyone expects, however, with Steve Bruce’s men currently in possession of the fifth worst away record in the league.
And that will have to change quickly if they are to mount their expected climb up the table.
