Aston Villa take on Derby County in the Championship playoff final this afternoon.

Aston Villa are potentially just 90 minutes away from the Premier League, as they take on Derby County in the Championship playoff final today.
Villa saw off West Bromwich Albion to make it to today’s big game, one year since losing to Fulham at the same stage.
Dean Smith will be hoping for better this afternoon, especially having been in sensational form since Jack Grealish and co destroyed today’s opponents Derby 4-0 in March.
Villa fans will be travelling down to London in their thousands for the game, with former players no doubt to Wembley too in order cheer on Smith’s men.
Another man appears to be heading to Wembley, and that’s defender Frederic Guilbert, who will be Villa-bound this summer.
Guilbert joined Villa in January but was immediately sent back to French side Caen, in order to try and keep them away from the Ligue 1 relegation zone.

Sadly, the right back couldn’t prevent Caen’s drop into the second tier, with the 24-year-old seen in tears after their relegation was confirmed with a home defeat to Bordeaux on Friday.
Now though, Guilbert has posted a photo on Instagram showing that he’s heading to London, complete with the ‘Up The Villa’ rallying cry, hinting that he’ll be in the stands for today’s game.
