Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah now has five goals for the season.
Adomah has been in brilliant form for Villa this season, and seems to have taken on the mantel of being one of the claret and blues’ main goalscorers.
Adomah scored his fifth goal of the campaign yesterday, to strike the winner against Fulham.
And Bruce was left dazzled by the Ghanian winger, who has become a key player for the Midlands side in recent weeks.
“That’s the best I’ve seen him play since he’s been at the club. He was a threat all day, he ran a million miles and scored the winner. I’m delighted for him,” Bruce said.
“As I said weeks ago, he could have quite easily knocked my door and said: ‘What’s going on?’
“He knuckled down, trained every day as if it was his last and he now looks as though he’s got a real spring in his step.
“He’s playing on the left coming in onto his right foot, he seems to enjoy it, and he’s now got a few goals which is great.”
Villa’s victory over Fulham was important, as it helped Bruce’s men regain some momentum.
The claret and blues were beaten by Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last outing, but they still remain in good form.
Villa have now won five of their last six Championship matches, to begin climbing up the standings rapidly.
Villa are now in fifth place in the Championship table, and look to be among the leading contenders for promotion.
