Aston Villa’s Callum O’Hare has not started in the Championship this season.

O’Hare has been in wonderful form for Villa’s development side this season, and has impressed when given a chance in Bruce’s senior squad.
O’Hare has been handed three starts for Villa in the EFL Cup, but he is yet to play from the off in the Championship.
Bruce has come under pressure from sections of the claret and blues support to give O’Hare a run in the team.

And Bruce has confirmed that the 19-year-old is pushing for a start. He said: “Callum is a breath of fresh air. But the one area of the pitch where Onomah, Grealish and Lansbury, they all like the number 10 role.
“He’s been knocking on the door, but the form of the team has been decent. If you’re going along nice then leave it alone. His time will come.”
Some Villa fans have been urging Bruce to start O’Hare ahead of Josh Onomah in recent weeks.

O’Hare could have hopes of starting at the weekend, as Onomah has picked up a cut on his foot, and is now a doubt for tomorrow’s match.
Bruce’s side are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Sheffield United at Villa Park.
If Villa can win the fixture, they will strengthen their position in the top six of the Championship table.
