The West Ham United man impressed for Aston Villa last season.

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has intimated to The Mirror that he wants to re-sign West Ham United’s Robert Snodgrass.
Snodgrass returned to West Ham this summer after a brilliant loan spell with Aston Villa last term.
The Scotland international, who scored seven goals and grabbed 14 assists to help the Villans reach the playoff final last term, made a cameo appearance in West Ham’s Premier League opener at Liverpool.
It remains to be seen what Manuel Pellegrini’s plans for him are in East London, but Bruce is clearly a big fan.
He told The Mirror: “Snodgrass was a very important player for us. He was a class act but has since returned to West Ham.
“He is trying to make an impression on a new manager and I don’t know anything about his current situation.”
After keeping Jack Grealish in spite of intense speculation of a move to Tottenham, re-signing Snodgrass would be a massive boost for Aston Villa.
Bruce’s side have won both of their Championship games this season and bringing back a player of Snodgrass’s vintage could certainly help them go one better and win promotion come May.
According to Spotrac he earns around £40,000 per week with the Premier League side, however, and it remains to be seen whether Villa can afford those figures, but time will tell whether he’s even available for a second loan.
