Gabriel Agbonlahor is currently on the verge of returning from injury for Aston Villa.

Both Scott Hogan and Jonathan Kodjia are set to spend a long time on the sidelines with injury, which leaves Villa’s options short up-front.
Keinan Davis looks likely to continue to lead the line for the claret and blues, but Villa lack a senior striker now.
With Ross McCormack out on loan, Agbonlahor is the most experienced forward available to Villa.

At the moment the 31-year-old is out with injury, but he is close to returning to fitness.
And Bruce admits that it will be important that Agbonlahor hits form straight away, as he could come straight into his first-team thinking now.
Bruce said: “It could be vitally important that Gabby gets the bit between his teeth again, because obviously we’re a little bit short.”

Agbonlahor has made just four appearances for Villa this season, scoring once and claiming an assist.
Villa have been in excellent form over recent weeks, and will be hoping that their injury problems do not derail their campaign.
Bruce’s side are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Queens Park Rangers.
