Aston Villa are in the midst of a renaissance under Steve Bruce, in spite of their defeat on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters, Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce shared how the positive atmosphere surrounding the club’s training ground is playing a huge part in their fine run of form, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Villans have only lost once since Bruce was handed the reigns at Villa Park in October, and they now sit just six points outside of the play-off promotion places.

And Bruce explained to reporters how the vibrancy emanating from the club as a whole will be so important as they look to push themselves further up the table, as quoted by avfc.co.uk:

“The one thing you want, certainly for me, is everyone to come to work to enjoy themselves. That’s whether you’re a player, one of the media staff, the chef…whatever…I want the club to be vibrant and a great place to be. That’s vitally important for me. If you get that atmosphere, you get the best out of people.”

There can be no denying that the Midlands side are an entirely different entity under the guidance of Bruce, and their turnaround since the dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo has been quite remarkable.

Bruce’s men now face an extremely kind looking run of fixtures, on paper at least, that takes them into the new year.

The average league position of their next six opponents is 15.33, and what a fantastic opportunity that represent’s for Villa to really make inroads into the top-six.
