Aston Villa midfielder Trezeguet was sent off against Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old midfielder was shown two yellow cards during Villa’s 1-0 defeat to Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Smith believes that the Egypt international’s first yellow card was harsh, and he has criticised him for getting booked on the second occasion and getting sent off.
Smith told Villa’s official website: “I thought Trez’s first yellow was very harsh but they got it correct with the second yellow. It was a silly one when you’re already on a caution. He’ll learn from that.”
Disappointing
Trezeguet will be disappointed to have been sent off and should have done better regarding Wilfried Zaha, but, as Smith says, the midfielder will learn.
The midfielder – who joined Villa from Turkish club Kasimpasa in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £8.75 million – did not have a good game overall and offered nothing in the first half.
According to WhoScored, during his time on the pitch against Palace, the 24-year-old Egypt international midfielder took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 66.7%, and made one clearance.
