The Villans winger is preparing for Sunday’s Championship clash with the Blues.

Aston Villa are gearing up for arguably their biggest single fixture of the season as they head to St Andrew’s for a Championship clash against Second City rivals Birmingham City on Sunday.
Dean Smith’s charges won the first league encounter in some style, running out 4-2 winners in a tense, exhilarating clash capped off by Alan Hutton’s stunning solo goal.
Going into the reverse fixture, Villa are behind their bitter rivals in the table but with a superb 4-0 win over Derby County last time out under their belt they’ll be feeling positive.
In addition, having the prodigal Jack Grealish back from injury will further buoy the Villa Park side, who can leapfrog the Blues and edge closer to the playoffs with victory on enemy territory.
One player who will hoping to feature and carve his name into Villa folklore is Andre Green, who missed the first derby as he was on loan at Portsmouth but was recalled in January and is now featuring for Smith’s side (Transfermarkt).
With just 15 minutes’ action over the past two games, the 20-year-old is having to be patient, but should he get the chance against Birmingham and take it with both hands, it won’t do his chances of an extended first-team run any harm.
Speaking ahead of the game, Green posted a Twitter message with images of him in training:
Some Villa fans responded, wishing him well and hoping he can get – and take – his chance:
