Former Aston Villa winger Adama Traore was in action for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Manchester United on Monday.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Adama Traore against Manchester United.
Traore featured for Wolves in their Premier League game against United at the Molineux Stadium on Monday evening.
The 23-year-old winger did not start the match, but the Spaniard came on as a substitute at the start of the second half.
The former Barcelona prospect played well for the Wanderers, with his direct running and crosses putting the United defender under pressure.
Traore also played a role in Ruven Neves’s goal for Wolves, as he showed just how important he can be to Nuno’s team.
According to WhoScored, the former Spain Under-21 international winger took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 81.3%, made one interception, played one key pass, and attempted three dribbles.
Wolves fans were very impressed with the performance of Traore, but Villa supporters were not.
The winger joined Villa from Barcelona in the summer of 2015 for an initial transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £7.1 million.
The 23-year-old winger played just 184 minutes in the Premier League for Villa in 2015-16, according to WhoScored, and moved to Middlesbrough in the summer of 2016.
