Aston Villa and Wolves fans on Twitter have labelled West Brom a ‘disgrace’ after they sacked manager Darren Moore on Saturday evening.

After the Baggies recorded a 1-1 draw with bottom-of-the-table Ipswich, the club confirmed on their official Twitter account that they have parted company with Moore.

Albion are sitting fourth in the Championship table, nine points behind second-placed Leeds and seven points ahead of seventh-placed Bristol City.

It is fair to say that Moore’s sacking has not just surprised West Brom supporters, but their rivals have also been taken aback by the decision to relieve him of his duties.

There are 10 games of the season remaining and while finishing in the automatic places looks difficult, it is looking highly likely that the club were going to secure a playoff spot.

Here is how some Villa and Wolves fans reacted on Twitter to the news that Moore has been sacked by West Brom:

Moore was given the job at the Hawthorns towards the back end of their relegation season when Tony Pulis and Alan Pardew were dismissed from their roles.

The positivity he brought to the club and the dressing room resulted in the club sticking with him as manager in the Championship.

But now, they will be looking for someone else to take the hot seat, with the Midlands outfit hosting Swansea City at the Hawthorns next Wednesday.
