Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday have both been linked with Middlesbrough forward Jordan Rhodes.
Aston Villa are currently the favourites to sign Middlesbrough forward Jordan Rhodes in January, according to BetVictor.
Boro boss Aitor Karanka has hinted that Rhodes could be set to leave the Riverside in the near future (Daily Star).
And, according to the odds, Villa are leading the way in the race for the striker’s signature.
The claret and blues already have a talented assortment of front men, but Steve Bruce will reportedly have money to spend in January, and Rhodes could be on his wishlist.
If Villa do make a move for the Scotland international, they are unlikely to be able to sign the striker uncontested.
Rhodes may not have played much for Boro this season, but he remains a prolific scorer at Championship level.
