Aston Villa were linked with Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley earlier this summer.

Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest fans have responded to Joe Lolley’s post on Twitter following the Reds’ defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.
Forest kicked off their 2019-20 Championship campaign with a 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the City Ground on Saturday.
The home team’s goalkeeper Aro Muric did not have a good time and conceded two goals that he should not have.
Lolley started the match and played for 72 minutes, and the 26-year-old winger has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the result.
Villa and Forest fans have responded to the post from the Englishman. The Birmingham Mail has earlier claimed this summer that the Villans – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – were interested in signing Lolley and were willing to pay £10 million as transfer fee.

Meanwhile, former Forest striker Stan Collymore has given his take on the performance of goalkeeper Muric against West Brom in the Championship game at the City Ground at the weekend.
