Aston Villa ace shares what Steve Bruce told the players before QPR game

Aston Villa earned a hard-fought victory over Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday.

Villa ace Albert Adomah spoke to reporters in the immediate aftermath of his side’s superb win at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, an shared the message that Steve Bruce stressed to his team before they took on Ian Holloway’s men, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Villans now sit in fifth position in the Championship table, after a fine run that has seen them win six and draw one of their last nine league outings, and there is now a genuine optimism emanating from Villa Park that Bruce’s men will go on to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

The 56-year-old has endured his fair share of criticism since taking the reigns at Villa back in October 2016, but it seems as though he has finally found a system that works for the payers that he has available to him.

And Adomah shared the message that Bruce tried to instil into his players during the lead up to Saturday’s game, when speaking to reporters after the match, as quoted by AVF.co.uk:

“Usually after the international break our performances haven’t been so strong – the manager stressed that a lot last week. We did pull out a performance on Saturday and there’s now no breaks until March, which is good.”

Next up for Villa is home game against Sunderland tomorrow night, before they welcome Ipswich Town to Villa Park the following Saturday, and nothing less than six points will suffice, as they look to keep the pressure up on those above them in the table.
