Jadon Sancho has suggested to the World Soccer magazine that he is open to moving to Liverpool or Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The Borussia Dortmund winger has admitted that it is hard to say what could happen this summer, thereby not ruling out a move to the Reds or their bitter rivals, the Red Devils.

The Daily Mail reported last month that both Liverpool and United are interested in signing the 20-year-old former Manchester City prospect this summer.

Sancho told the August issue of the World Soccer magazine when asked about a potential move to Liverpool or United, as relayed by The Mirror: “I don’t know what to say to that.

“It’s hard to say. That’s the future. You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.”

Stats

Sancho is one of the best young players in the world and has been superb for Dortmund since he moved to the German club in 2017.

According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old winger scored 17 goals and provided 16 assists in the Bundesliga this season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, he scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists in the league.

Moving to Liverpool this summer

While Liverpool have a very strong attacking unit, Sancho would be a superb addition to manager Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The 20-year-old scores goals and provides assists, and he would make the current Liverpool team even stronger and more potent.
