Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that they have made the first move to try and sign Caleb Chukwuemeka.
The Daily Mail report that Villa have seen their opening bid for the Northampton Town teenage star rejected.
The name Chukwuemeka will be familiar to those in Villa colours – and rightly so – because Caleb is the older brother of Carney.
Carney made his Villa debut at Tottenham towards the back end of last season and also won the FA Youth Cup.
And understandably, the Villa faithful are eager for Caleb to link up with his younger brother in B6.
Other parties are looking at the 19-year-old’s talents, including Rangers and Spurs.
But will Villa feel, given that they have his brother in their ranks, that they hold an advantage on the forward?
Either way, the Villa Park faithful want him signed up because they want to see him linking up with his younger sibling, who is perhaps the biggest talent in the club’s ranks, at this moment in time.
A couple of years ago, Villa’s academy was being mis-managed and in a heap of mess.

But with the Midlands side fine-tuning that department in recent years, including bringing in the likes of Mark Harrison and Steve Hopcroft, it has helped transform those coming up.
That was proven when the youngsters lifted the FA Youth Cup by beating Liverpool last season and it might be something to lure the older Chukwuemeka towards their direction.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of Villa fans reacting to those Caleb Chukwuemeka rumours:
