Newcastle fans shared their thoughts on Twitter after Steve Bruce issued a strong response after being asked another question about the club’s potential takeover.

Bruce, who had just watched Newcastle record a 2-2 draw at home to relegation strugglers West Ham, was keen to ‘move on’ from the matter and expressed that he is ‘bored’ at being asked about the takeover after every press conference, as quoted by the Chronicle.

Whilst Bruce is seemingly annoyed at all the takeover talk, the Newcastle fans aren’t and they made it clear the talk won’t stop until an actual deal happens.

In truth, all of that doesn’t have anything to do with Bruce because all he can do is work with his players on the training ground and on match-days.

But it is understandable that the St James’ Park faithful are a little restless because they want answers as yet another takeover saga on Tyneside rumbles on.

At the start of the season, Bruce wasn’t given much of a chance by the Newcastle fans, but it seems as though he has won quite a lot of them over.

Given that their Premier League status is secure for another campaign, the start of the new season will be much sweeter for the Geordies if Ashley is no longer in the hotseat.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Newcastle fans reacting to Bruce’s blunt response about the takeover questions.
