West Brom have been linked with a move for Ashley Young.
Manchester United winger Ashley Young has seen his first team role gradually decrease at the club since signing in 2011, and his time at the club could be at a crossroads.
Providing he can ignore big money offers from China (The Sun), he could have an option to sign with West Bromwich Albion, with the Birmingham Mail reporting the club have made an enquiry after him.
It is easy to forget now, but Young was not so long ago regarded as one of England’s most dynamic attackers.

Heading into Euro 2012, he was seen as the Three Lions’ most dangerous players, but after a disappointing tournament he begun to lose his way.
This was just one year into his Manchester United career, and despite fading after a promising start, he has managed to stick around.
At 31, it is not too late for Young to recapture his previous best, but to do so, he needs to play.

This is not an opportunity currently being granted at Manchester United. He has made just two league starts this season, and two appearances from the bench.
During the past two seasons he has also been used at full-back, where he has been adequate, but it does not play to his natural game.
Young need only look at former United teammate Darren Fletcher, who was in a similar position at United two seasons ago, and made the leap to sign with the Baggies.
He has thrived since getting the chance to play every week, while summer signing Nacer Chadli is another who has benefitted after swapping Tottenham’s bench for West Brom’s first team.
Young should take inspiration from the duo and see that the Baggies can free him from the shackles he is under at United, and if it works out, the winger could be an outstanding addition for West Brom.
