Everton must sort out their inconsistency, according to Ashley Williams.

Everton defender Ashley Williams has told The Express that the Toffees squad will speak about their consistency this week after drawing 1-1 with Swansea City.
The Toffees were heavy favourites heading into Saturday’s clash with Swansea, but after Gylfi Sigurdsson had put the Swans in front, Everton had to rely on a late equaliser from Seamus Coleman to get a point.
Ronald Koeman’s men have now won just one of their last seven Premier League games, and the Dutch boss must try to get his side out of their current slump.
Koeman now faces a huge test this weekend, as he makes his first return to former club Southampton since leaving the club for Everton over the summer, and he’ll be praying for an improvement from his players.

Ahead of that game, defender Ashley Williams has spoken The Express about Everton’s recent form, admitting that it’s ‘frustrating’ for everybody at Goodison Park.
Williams, 32, left Swansea for Everton in August, and has been part of a Toffees defence which has kept just two clean sheets in the Premier League since the end of August.
Williams admitted that he and the rest of the Everton players are trying their best, but there is a level of inconsistency that continues to hold the club back, as Everton have often had one great half and one poor half in games this season.

The Welsh international added that the Everton players will talk about that inconsistency this week, as it’s something that Everton must work on.
“It is frustrating for all of us,” said Williams. “We are trying our best but for whatever reason this [inconsistency] is happening. This week we will speak a bit more about that because I feel it is definitely something we need to work on in the 90 minutes and from game to game,” he added.
