Ashley Williams has commented on his first few weeks as an Everton player.

Everton defender Ashley Williams has told BBC Sport that he is enjoying learning under manager Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park.
Williams, 32, was one of Koeman’s key signings this summer as he made the move from Premier League rivals Swansea City, and he has already played his part in solidifying the Everton defence.

The Toffees’ back line struggled under Roberto Martinez last season, but Williams’ experience was already on show as he helped Everton claim a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Stoke City last weekend.
With an international break already upon us, Williams will be in action for Wales against Moldova on Monday evening, but he’s taken time to speak about working alongside Everton boss Koeman.

The Dutchman was one of the top defenders in the world during his playing days with Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona, meaning he holds a certain appeal when defenders are offered the chance to work with him.
Williams appears to be another player who loves working with Koeman, having told BBC Sport that he wants to soak up as much information from the former Southampton manager as possible, and is enjoying playing under him so far.
Williams added that he feels he has to start from scratch at Everton as he’s the new signing attempting to make an impression at Goodison Park.

“I am enjoying playing underneath him,” said Willaims. “As I said when I moved here he is one of the best centre-halves who ever played. I am going to be a sponge to learn off him and try and take in as much as I can of his knowledge.”
“When you go to a new place and you are the new boy you have to try to impress everyone and get your head down and start from scratch,” he added.
