The Chelsea defender has been busy angering Arsenal fans on Twitter, again.
Ashley Cole signing up to Twitter was always going to go well.
He only joined the social networking site a couple of weeks ago, wisely picking his time after his Champions League win.
The defender clearly feels he is untouchable, and is enjoying setting the record straight with several of his detractors.
He posted yesterday to clear up media reports that he had demanded wages of £200,000 per week as part of his contract talks at Chelsea.
@therealac3: Contract talks have not stalled just started and £200k are you for real, i’d never ask for that.
An hour later he was obviously slightly riled by dozens of responses from Arsenal fans, and posted:
@therealac3: Arsenal fans get over it I won #ihaveastaronmyshirtnow
But it was his posts a little later which were most interesting, seeking to correct an Arsenal fan on a ‘myth’ on a particular benefit Arsene Wenger had had on his career.
He retweeted: @ladgooner: Except for the fact you were a striker until Arsene spotted your talent and made you a left back. You owe him everything.
Cole responded: @therealac3: Know your facts before u talk rubbish he didn’t change my position
We’re going to make a little prediction here, this particular ‘twitter row’ between Ashley Cole and Arsenal fans is going to end one way – with Cole eventually landing himself in trouble with the FA.
