Asamoah Gyan has ‘liked’ a tweet criticising both John O’Shea and Lee Cattermole.

Sunderland fan website Roker Report carried a opinion piece, which criticised O’Shea’s and Cattermole’s attitude.

And their former teammate, Gyan, ‘liked’ the statement on Twitter.

The Ghanian forward played with both O’Shea and Cattermole during his time at Sunderland.

But, back then, the two long-standing players still had some credit remaining at the Stadium of Light.

Cattermole and O’Shea were both playing key roles while Gyan was at the club, and in those days they appeared to have something to offer.

However, Cattermole and O’Shea have been two of Sunderland’s biggest under performers so far this term.

The pair have come in for a great deal criticism, with Sunderland stuck at the bottom of the Championship table.

Gyan, meanwhile, is currently playing for Kayserispor in Turkey’s top flight.
