Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tabled a €26 million (£23 million) bid to sign Nice striker Alassane Plea, with the Frenchman having impressed in Ligue 1 last season.

The 25-year-old bagged 16 goals and made five assists in 35 appearances, and is hot property in the French league. As reported by the Sun, he has the green light from club president Jean-Pierre Riviere to leave the club this summer.
