Tottenham are monitoring Tosin Adarabioyo’s situation at Fulham after AS Monaco had a second bid rejected for the central defender.
According to The Athletic, Tosin Adarabioyo has caught the attention of Tottenham, who currently have their eyes on him.
It is Monaco who have been making serious moves for the 25-year-old, though, with the same outlet claiming that they have now had two bids for him rejected.
Adarabioyo has one year left on his contract, so a transfer could still be arranged before the transfer window closes as Fulham look to avoid losing him on a free next summer.
However, if Tottenham want the former Manchester City player, then they are going to have to offer more than Monaco’s recent £8.5m proposal.
Tosin Adarabioyo could replace Eric Dier
While Adarabioyo is being linked with a move to Tottenham, there has been talk about Eric Dier leaving the club.
90min recently claimed that the England international could depart north London this summer amid interest from several teams.
It could leave Ange Postecoglou possibly needing to bring in another centre-back, with Adarabioyo seemingly an option for the Spurs boss.
The Fulham star has Premier League experience and has been described as an “exceptional person and a good footballer” by City manager Pep Guardiola.

All things considered, he could be a good back-up option for Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, but it remains to be seen whether that is a role he would be willing to accept.
At Monaco, Adarabioyo probably has more chance of being a regular starter, which may appeal to him.
The Ligue 1 side, however, will need to up their previous offer if they want to bring the centre-half to France this summer.
With one year left on his contract, the likelihood is that Fulham sell Adarabioyo before September’s transfer deadline.
