Aurelien Tchouameni wants to move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to Santi Aouna in Empire of the Kop.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Tchouameni from AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
Aouna has reported that the 22-year-old France international midfielder, who he thinks is a “complete player” wants to move to Liverpool as well.
The journalist told Empire of the Kop: “For the moment, there is just some contact with his agent. Monaco knows it too. The player is very interested in Liverpool.
“If Aurelien Tchouameni has managed to become regular in his performances, it is also because over time he has settled into a role that suits him better.
“Positioned higher on the pitch, his athletic and technical abilities allow him to bring a real plus offensively without neglecting defensive tasks. He is mature in and off the pitch. Complete player.”

Aurelien Tchouameni would be a great signing for Liverpool
In our opinion, Tchouameni would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool and would make Jurgen Klopp’s side better and stronger in the middle of the park.
Yes, we know that Liverpool have a very good midfield department.
Thiago is starting to show why Liverpool signed him, Fabinho is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League, and Jordan Henderson is going strong as ever.
However, there is always room for improvement in any squad.
Tchouameni is a regular in Ligue 1 and is still only 22, so he can only improve and get better in the coming years.
The youngster has made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Monaco so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
