Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left wowed by footage of Danny Rose in action for Watford over the weekend.

The 31-year-old left Spurs this summer after his contract expired in North London.

When Watford earned promotion to the Premier League, they snapped up his talents and he is now starting to earn regular minutes at left-back.

He started Watford’s 3-1 win over Norwich on Saturday, where the former Spurs academy product made an outstanding pass, from his own half, straight through the heart of Norwich’s defence.

Ismaila Sarr, who netted a brace during the game, was the man who was put through on goal, but he was unable to finish what was an outstanding pass.

Spurs fans have lauded their former player and how he is doing things some of their own fullbacks can’t do.

In his final season in North London, Rose was left out in the cold and wasn’t even handed a squad number by then-manager, Jose Mourinho.

Given that he is on the other side of 30, it could have been easy for Rose to call it a day because of how things have unfolded for him during these last few years.

Or even move to a so-called lesser league, where life would have been easier for him.

But he has taken up quite the challenge at Watford and he now has the chance to prove a lot of people wrong and help the club maintain its Premier League status.

Here is a selection of Spurs fans reacting to footage emerging of Rose’s performance for Watford from the weekend:
