Zinedine Zidane has stated that he is hopeful Eden Hazard and Fede Valverde will be ‘available’ for Liverpool’s visit on Tuesday night, as he told Real Madrid’s official website.

Both players missed Real Madrid’s 2-0 win against Eibar on Saturday and they now face a race against time to be fit for that mouthwatering showdown against Liverpool.

Given Hazard’s Premier League past, he’s the name that will be on everyone’s lips and perhaps a player Liverpool fans would like to see be fit for Tuesday.

Nonetheless, this is what Zidane had to say about the duo ahead of tomorrow’s game.

“As for Tuesday and whether or not I’ll have any of the other players back, I hope that Fede [Valverde] and Eden [Hazard] are available,” said Zidane.

“They didn’t make today’s game, but, as always, we’ll hold on and I hope that they’re able to feature”.

It hasn’t worked out for Hazard since he swapped London for Madrid in 2019.

From fitness issues, injuries to lack of form, it’s not working out for the light-footed speedster.

But it would just be Liverpool’s luck if the Hazard that scored that stunning solo goal for Chelsea against Liverpool in 2018 turns up on Tuesday.
