AJ Tracey – British rapper and Tottenham fan – has taken to Twitter to aim a dig at Arsenal and Jack Wilshere after the Gunners poked fun at Spurs.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal ensured their website went viral today, when opting to include a feature which read ‘as empty as Tottenham’s trophy cabinet’ when nothing is selected in a user’s basket.
You can see what we’re talking about below.
It was a petty dig by the Gunners, and one which clearly annoyed AJ Tracey as he hit back in ruthless fashion.
The rapper decided to target Wilshere when defending his beloved Spurs, in a dig which focused on the 31-year-old’s lack of transfer offers.
Since October, the England international has been training with Arsenal after leaving Bournemouth, although he is yet to be offered a contract from any club.
You can see AJ Tracey’s remark in full below.
In fairness, that is quite the comeback.
Arsenal probably should’ve done some research before making the dig, as they would’ve discovered that Tottenham’s trophy cabinet is far from empty.
Arsenal backtrack over Tottenham jibe

Since AJ Tracey posted his tweet, the Gunners have begun to backtrack.
Arsenal have released a statement which states that the feature on their website was an error, and is being removed as soon as possible.

The Gunners explain that it was included on their website without the appropriate checks and approvals.
Whether it was just an intern messing around, or a case of poor judgement from the Gunners, it still caused quite the stir between these north London neighbours.
